Buccaneers: Brady changed the culture in Tampa and the end result was a Super Bowl contender

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have the worst win percentage of any team in North American team sports. Despite this, they are going to their second Super Bowl thanks to one man and one man only. Tom Brady.

Make no mistake about it, the Buccaneers are good. The roster is littered with talent. However, that talent didn’t put it together until this season and Brady is the reason.

The GOAT brought a work ethic and accountability to Tampa. Bruce Arians is a good coach but despite his previous success, he couldn’t change the culture of losing that existed in Tampa last season. Tom Brady did.

Brady’s mere presence changed the fortunes of the organization. He demanded accountability and excellence from the coaches and his teammates. He wasn’t going to settle for anything less.

Despite not having any organized team activities last off-season due to COVID-19 , Brady still found a way to get his hands on the playbook and set up times to work with his new teammates on the field. He set the tone from the beginning. He proved he was the leader of the team.

It wasn’t always easy this season for the Buccaneers but as time went on, things started to come together. Once Brady, Arians and offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich got on the same page, the Buccaneers got on track and never looked back.

As a result, Brady is going to his 10th Super Bowl and the Buccaneers are going to be the first team in NFL history to host a Super Bowl.

In New England, it is about the Patriot Way. In Tampa, it is all about the Brady Way. Brady showed an organization that is perennial loser how to win. Now that organization is one win away from winning a Super Bowl. It is pretty remarkable when you think about.
