Patriots sign running back C.J Marable

The Patriots signed free agent running back C.J Marable. Marable, 26 originally signed with the Chicago Bears as a rookie free agent out of Coastal Carolina in 2021. The 5-10, 200-pounder, was released by the Bears in May of 2021.  Marable spent the last two seasons playing in the USFL for the Birmingham Stallions. Patriots bring back Trey Flowers

The Patriots have signed former 2015 fourth round pick Trey Flowers. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.  Flowers, a two-time Super Bowl champion spent his first four seasons in the NFL with the Patriots before signing a five year, $90 million dollar deal with the Detroit Lions in 2019.  Flowers was released by the Lions last off-season and signed with the Miami Dolphins.
